Did I get a switch2 on gamestop? not sure. Paypal transaction went through, but no email from gamestop and not showing up in the orders

@resonantarc.bsky.social I cringed a bit at scummvm being described as an emulator in the gog episode but glad to see the good work those guys are doing

Curious what PlayStation's IP Preservation Team has been up to? Have you heard about vaults and mineshafts and wondered what that is all about? Well you're in luck! Our talk is now live and available for free in the GDC Vault gdcvault.com/play/1034952...

So, any news on the Vitality Sensor?

A 'Little Big Adventure 2 Remake' is in development but Microids had a change in their publishing strategy and backed out. The studio is planning to selfpublish the game and asks for support (Ko-Fi, Investor, monthly support) to make it happen. www.littlebigadventure.com/en/lba2-rema...

β€œIf you see this post your Lock Screen.” Photo I took in Shibuya. δΈ²γ γŠγ‚Œ for the win.

I was in Paris a couple weeks ago, and got to check out Notre Dame that reopened late last year. It was shocking seeing the inside and how good it looked, the restauration work was incredible.

I forgot to add, the digital version is still available here stphanepicq.bandcamp.com/album/dune-s...

Dune is actually on my short-list of game to reverse engineer one day. I've left it mostly alone because I know there have been some attempts by others, and I learned the hard way that reverse engineering DOS 16bit games is very annoying. Might still be worth revisiting someday.

I was saddened a month ago to learn the passing of Stephane Picq, the composer of the music of Dune (the Cryo one) and other Cryo games. Dune music had seen a release on CD in 92, but had been stuck in legal limbo ever since. Finally, late 2024 Stephane was able to remaster and re-release it.

This will do.
