Reigns title run led directly to WWE’s hottest period ever. We can challenge the booking at times, totally valid. But I’d argue WWE made the right call. Without his reign Cody’s win isn’t as big a deal.

I think a fresh start for Private Party with WWE might be the best thing for them. I don’t see them cracking the mid card tag level again without a dedicated program. AEW had a chance to do that but blew it. They need a chance to reboot and get fresh. This is why 2 promotions is better than 1.
