One day, when we get through this, I hope to build a library like my paternal grandfather had. Of what little remains of his library I can tell you it would involve custom bookplates, false books for stashes, and poetry books with my future spouse's name and address written in them.

Attempts to request my great-grandfather's military records have hit a slight hitch. Better response than for my grandfather's records (great-grandfather is Grandma's father), which was basically "lol we need more info here's 2 forms to fill out and mail in."

Baby break

Folks posting pictures of protests & encouraging folks to come out & its one giant super spreader event with no masks while covid rages on, & measles (extremely contagious & destroys immune systems if you live) is back. How yall fighting fascists by genociding disabled folks FOR fascists? Mask Up!

My comment, free to steal: "The only AI Action Plan that should be developed is one which addresses the rights of original content creators and trademark holders as well as the risk and impact to American jobs and employment. It has been proven the current "AI" is little more than an advance LLM. -

"Last but not least be it remembered that well on into the war Hitler was apt to give vent to his recurring dislike of generals, the General Staff and it's training, and the mental outlook of the army as a whole . . ." Walter Warlimont, "Inside Hitler's Headquarters, 1939-45"

We MUST start pushing a broader narrative of issues than "Musk". There is a very real risk that unless we open eyes to what is happening at all levels of govt, that when Musk is ousted or done, the momentum dies as the everyday-man assumes the problem is solved, while Project 2025 continues.

In an effort to help, I am gauging interest in an #OntarioCounty #WestNY mutual support group. Goal is to aggregate resources for activist action as well as local assistance such as knowledge sharing, non-judgemental education and understanding, providing assistance, wellness checks, etc.

Time for a history break. In researching my great-grandfather's experience in #WWII I found a comprehensive report document written post-war about his Division! Interestingly enough there are reports from different sources of the same days/actions, but the facts differ(such as dates) between some.

If you've already left a VM w/ full address or cannot, you can fax your senator here: faxzero.com/fax_senate.php Here is a version of the letter I sent out (which might be awful, I wrote it on my phone at 7 am haha) if anyone wants to copy it; docs.google.com/document/d/1...

Left a voicemail with Schumer and Gillibrand... again... Schumer's phone isn't even ringing anymore, just straight to voicemail. Also wrote a letter and faxed it to both of them (with slight changes). Sigh. We shouldn't have to do all this.

Watched "Two Men in Dallas" finally. Very weird to see my grandfather, a man who died before I was born, speaking about such a heavy matter only 2 years before his death.
