Having a family history moment - some of my family are in the York Castle Museum visiting the reproduction of the silversmith shop where my three-and-four-greats-grandfathers Cattle were partners. I have a few pieces of their flatware that I've found on Ebay over the years.

Went to visit the Algernourne Oak today at Fort Monroe outside Hampton, VA. This liveoak is over 500 years old. It saw John Smith kick the Kecoughtans off their land. It saw the White Lion deliver Angolan captives into slavery on Virginia's shore.
