The passing of Michelle Trachtenberg is hitting me hard. I’m just 3 days younger than she was. Being an adult sucks. You suddenly hit the age where the body seems to just fall apart. You literally never can guess when you or your loved ones are going to get ill, but life is short. Live it up.

During Henry’s dental cleaning a week ago the vet found a small lump on his gums. She removed it and sent it off to pathology. Results are back: no cancer! Just an infection and he’s already been on antibiotics for 2 weeks, so he’s good to go!

At this time tomorrow, I will hopefully be back in my classroom getting ready for the first (and only) school day of this week. I’m ready. I miss the students and the funny things they say.

I know I drive my sister crazy sometimes. She’s a nurse practitioner and I ask her the dumbest questions at times. She just humors me. Bless her. 😂 Earlier I said my ribs/muscles feel like they’re gonna tear when I cough, and I asked her if that is normal. I KNEW it’s from coughing. Why did I ask?!

It’s still pretty icy/snowy outside. My chihuahua pretty much refuses to go out. He did go out for long enough to shit right on the front porch almost directly in front of the door. So 🤷🏻‍♀️

I have a dentist appointment tomorrow. Henry has one Tuesday. I’m sure he’ll have at least 1 tooth extracted. He’s got a gross little chihuahua mouth. Nervous cause he’s going under anesthesia, but he’ll be ok I tell myself
