Robert Eggers' "Paddington"

One of my favourite panels from last month’s Detective Comics #1093. Art by @mikeljanin.bsky.social.

I work for a large corporation and not a particularly progressive one, but I am so glad and proud that we still have a DEI department! Company is quiet about it but it's still there doing it's thing. It feels good knowing my bosses have spines.

I still call bad children Bebe Kids. That includes bad white children. I don't care what color you are. If you're bad, your mama is Bebe and Bebe is TIRED.

What are the best ways to create choice and consequence in a #SoloRPG? And I mean more than world building and journaling text.

Missouri GOP pledges to fight Missouri citizens. It doesn't matter what we choose. Our State. Our Lives. Their Choice. Vote these fuckers out ASAP. Do not stay at home.

Do you write? Then you’re a writer. I don’t care if you’re trad published, self published, or not at all published. If you write - you’re a writer. There’s no officiant or badge to collect. You write - you’re a writer. So stop waiting for someone to declare you one. I just did. There you go.

“I can’t join protests” or “I don’t know what to do” are common refrains. Yet, resistance thrives in the everyday: sharing uncensored news, supporting local businesses, rejecting injustice in conversation, aiding neighbors, preserving culture, documenting abuses. Small acts sustain defiance.

I definitely would have played this as a kid in the n64 era.

Well, fuck...

It sure is fun to make fun of all the trumpers who found out he ruined their lives! But you know what's even more fun? RECRUITING THEM. Don't let them turn back to trump. Don't let them find another fascist to fool them. Pull them into the resistance. Help them bring others out of trumpism.

No, you do not need to finish it.

Portuguese editorial cartoonist Zez Vaz reaches back to Tiananmen Square to call on American defiance.

You ought to know Brenda Banks, one of the first Black female animators in Hollywood, whose career spanned four decades where she worked on diverse projects from Ralph Bakshi films to The Smurfs and Daffy Duck to The Pirates of Dark Water and King of the Hill. #BlackHistoryMonth

Necessary spoiler, and maybe a trigger warning: this comic is about fibroids. It isn't a horror story... technically. I knew nothing about fibroids before reading this comic and suspect I should have been MUCH more aware. www.reddit.com/r/comics/s/a...

Horrifying. The administration is attacking me and half of the people I know. ND folks will not go to concentration camps willingly. If they get us there, we will tear them down.
