So let's see the Con strategy. Campaign for 2 yrs that Trudeau is bad/ Canada is broken. Trudeau resigns. Carney steps in. Cons were hoping to go head to head with Trudeau. That's over. Now start disinfo about Carney. They're so utterly pathetic.

What I dislike most about our present reality is how everyone, even people being bullied by Trump, aquiese and kiss his ass. People need to push back. He's a bully. I would love to see another world leader stand up to him. Maybe it will be the Mexican President. I feel like it has to be a woman.

We are in Mexico right now and we befriended an American couple. We, of course, had to talk about Trump even tho we're all trying to avoid the shit show. It is so refreshing to talk to Americans who know about Canada and know about our politics because I know way too much about American politics.

Thinking about the state of the world I feel privileged to have options. My partner and I may just drop out and go cruise around in an RV and leave the world behind. But where to go? Canada may follow the U.S. politically. Europe will be highly destabilized with Trump stopping support for NATO.
