And that’s us all done once again! What a fab and relaxed day trip to the Bluebell Railway?! Big thank you to @hastingsdiesels.co.uk and all their volunteers as usual for making this tour as fantastic as always!

Victoria, a tad late but we’ll make up time thanks to pathing allowances! Homeward bound we are!

The time has come, it’s time to depart from Sheffield park on the @hastingsdiesels.co.uk tour and back to Hastings via London Victoria once again! It’s been a marvellous afternoon at the Bluebell with a lovely journey home awaiting us!

Bluebell Railway shenanigans continue with some trains up and down the line! Plenty of time left to have fun while we wait for the return journey!

We’ve made it to London Victoria! We’re due to leave at 10:01 so we have some time to wander and stretch our legs before we head towards East Grinstead for Sheffield Park!!

We’re just leaving Tonbridge continuing our journey along after making up our delay we had leaving Hastings! We should be making good time now for fast run up to Victoria!

Good morning from Hastings! It’s time we’re off on another @hastingsdiesels.co.uk I think! Today we’re off to the Bluebell Railway via London Victoria. We’re a bit late so let’s get this party started 😎

Well a rather bizarre end to the trip, after being 20L into Hastings… Everything in the Ore direction is canceled!! Seems the East Coastway has gone bugger up!

Did somebody say that the 90s were back? Just by chance after thinking it’s not going to be out past 10ish I’ve seen the stunning example of the networker fleet 465908 “Chris Green”

After a walk from North Greenwich I’m now at IKEA where I have some browsing to do!

Some time for spotting has ensued and now our journey continues onward! Greenwich here we come!

My adventuring has landed me at Harringay which everybody should know is a prime sporting location! Some lunch and trains sounds like good fun if you ask me :3

There isn’t really a plan for today apart from I need to go and browse furniture at an Ikea! So let’s do some bashing!

Trains today? Trains today! Off up to the big smoke :3

Coastway Will

Out on the first 99, home on the last 1066. That’s pretty good running for a £10 discovery ticket and £9 on an Oyster card! I’m on my 322 home now and that’s this trip done and dusted!

Well if you couldn’t tell I missed the earlier 1066 thanks to pileeessss of roadworks on the route of the 7! However we’re now homeward bound, a good while after leaving this morning too!

Back to scheduled programming with a 7 to Tunbridge Wells! It’s a tight connection for the 1066, fingers crossed we make it or it’s dinner in the opera house!

Seems we just can’t catch a break in this country anymore. How many times does it have to be said that, Trans women ARE women, Trans men ARE men and trans rights ARE HUMAN RIGHTS. We aren’t political pawns for your ‘culture war’ and for you to define things you can’t define.

And now we arrive into lovely Chatham and await the next 101 down to Maidstone!

And those next steps were… a train to Dartford! If I didn’t get a train I’d have been stuck in later today so it’s for the best! We now head to Bluewater to connect with a 700 into Chatham!

And this is what I’m classing as my finish line! Trafalgar Square from Hastings in just about 8 hours by normal public bus. Now for the next steps…

The adventure continues on the 468 as we head up to Elephant & Castle where we’re due in an hour. After that we’ll get a 12 towards Trafalgar Sqaure and I’ll call that the end!

After a decent chunk of travelling we’ve only just made it to Redhill! We now move from a South Downs Discovery to my Oyster card for the last couple busses of this journey! The next bus here is a 405 to Croydon :3

My 99 and 12X were a success and now it’s time for a 273 up to Crawley! The adventure continues :3

Good morning from aboard a 99 at Hastings Station.. I had an idea to do something random today so here it is! London from Hastings all on normal busses :3 Let’s get a wiggle on shall we?

And that’s us done! Another tour is over and done with, bashing EWR and the such has been great fun. Big thank you to @hastingsdiesels.co.uk as always!

Some adventures by bus have ensued, including a go on an E400ev for my first time since Farnborough Last Year! And we’re now back on the move again towards Hastings, Homeward bound it is!

And now we arrive into Bicester Village! My next destination for this is probably expected, it’s a bus to Oxford!

East West Rail? Done it! After our short stop in at Milton Keynes and a delayed departure we’re on our way to Bicester Village where we then get an hour and a bit break! Let’s get going again with @hastingsdiesels.co.uk East West DEMU!

It’s that time once again for a @hastingsdiesels.co.uk tour! We’re off to Milton Keynes via the first Section of East West Rail! Today we’ve also got for the first time since preservation a 9 car unit! We’re already on the move so time to enjoy the trip!!

Nice to see scouting recognised, as a current volunteer for them and partaking as a young person from 6 I like seeing positive press about them :3 It’s a nice change from all the negativity and criticism!

After a pleasant journey back, I’m in Hastings again where todays adventure comes to an end! Not sure what I’m up to next but I’m sure it’ll be something interesting :3

And now it’s time for the last run, with the same 400MMC we kicked the day off YN16 WWB (15285)! A peaceful journey home on a quiet bus after a nice day is just what I need :3

Some wandering Folkestone has occurred as I always try and visit the Harbour Arm! Now the return begins with a 103 which I’ll be taking as far as New Romney :3

The fun truly never stops does it? An 11 to New Romney & Lydd is my next step and then we’ll be headed back east to Folkestone to keep things moving!

What has ensued was some Dover Fastrack action (yes I’ve FINALLY done it!) and then a 15 to Canterbury! Next up is a 1X to Ashford now that I’ve also had some time for spotting and such here on the city walls :3

After a pleasant journey from Lydd using the 102 and 105 I’m now in Dover! You can probably work out what I’m here for but if you’re not sure it’ll become clear soon enough!

Some wandering in Lydd has been in order while I wait for my 102 to Folkestone! Beforehand I could’ve just stayed on it all the way to Dover but they split up the routes recently meaning I have to change!

Good morning from an actually not too chilly Hastings! We’re off on a bus adventure but today it’s headed east not west, kicking off with the 100 to Rye & Lydd :3

Half term is coming up this week, and I’ve got it in my mind to try something new.. but it’s going to require a trip to Kent!

If you see this, post somethign RED!

Another post in quick succession, seems another update has been pushed to the departure board in East Sussex, with this one actually telling you if your bus is cancelled!

Took a small spin up to the city yesterday to go to the extremes of the Piccadilly Line, try some Superloop and a walk from Bank to Victoria! Not the most exciting stuff ever but still nice and pleasant trip up. Nothing beats a simple bit of going along!

These have been about for a couple of days but Hastings has finally been blessed with newer vehicles! Eastbourne have some too and it’s quite exciting to have something built past 2017 :3

That’s us all done! First tour of the year a success even if we were a little late on return to Hastings (but surely that’s HDL tradition) Big thank you to @hastingsdiesels.co.uk for a great day as always and I’ll be back posting with another trip soon!

And as our time in Winchester comes to and end the journey on the diesel continues! We’re now headed back again via Woking & Redhill!
