I already wanted my kids to be educated in Canada or Europe so this administration is just making it harder as it drives more demand to those places. 🤦🏼‍♂️

It’s like every effect this administration wants to have is the opposite of what it actually has… except the racism, sexism, and grifting part. They are doing that super effectively.

An American citizen has had her husband “disappeared” by the U.S. government. This is unacceptable.

Literally insane and also sad. I love Canada, have family there, friends, and have been considering buying property there to spend more time there. They are amazing people.

The principle anyone (who isn't a slave) being held against their will has the right to some kind of process before a judge is so ancient the Code of Hammurabi takes it for granted. It's probably literally prehistoric, a practice predating written history. It is the deepest root of what law is.

I have never liked Harvard as much as I do right now. 💪🏻

😳 getting rid of “unproductive people”…

AOC: When he talks about rapists and criminals, he should look in the mirror

It’s a clever communications strategy because higher education has become less affordable and we do need to rethink education.

The great thing about fighting back against this stuff is that if you end up losing anyway you get the same outcome you’d have gotten from complying but you don’t have to fucking hate yourself too.

These people are all so awful.

I really hope American universities figure out they are now all under attack and band together. If Harvard gets rolled what can any other random institute of higher education do?

So gross.

It’s always coming next release… seems like a fable I can’t remember the name of… apple.news/A_2Nm9_EdSuC...

🤣

This is nonsensical because it is not supported by contrary evidence suggesting there is meaningful voter fraud. You just out a greater burden on women and you WILL be primaried and lose to a woman. (Grew up in Lewiston and disgusted by this.)

Science does not work like this. The only way you can set a timeline is if you have rigged the results in advance.

No woman should ever change her name again. There is ZERO chance SAVE would be passed if it put the additional burden to vote on men that it does on women. apnews.com/article/cong...

Each of the four Democrats who voted for SAVE need to be primaried next possible opportunity. www.independent.co.uk/news/world/a...

Pretty sure that’s the part of the time that got him in the role! 🃏

Oh and a Dali too… my mother in law is crazy talented given she just started painting. I’m a little confused at why my wife asked for copies but here we are. 😳👩🏻‍🎨🎨#art #dali

Ok. Low key amazing my wife asked my mother in law to paint a copy of a famous Miro and she did an amazing job. Oh, and she started painting in only the last few years. #art #miro

Seriously when are universities going it band together and say NO.

So it’s like the opposite of the stock market. They sort of match up. 🤦🏼‍♂️

100% chance the world will feel the pain of economic hardship. Whether it is technically a recession is sort of beside the point.

Bravo, my friends. Your one big, beautiful bill is going to blow a hole through the deficit to give permanent tax breaks to billionaires on the backs of real Americans. That’s why we voted NO!

The “center” is always further to “the right” …Because no true center exists in politics. It’s a wholly mythical creation — easily disproven but cemented into media brains. At this rate, Democrats will be required to do Hitler salutes to be considered “centrist” in 5-7 years.

We filed an amicus brief alongside @theintercept.com and 59 other media organizations and press freedom advocates to challenge Trump’s executive order threatening legal representation and press freedom. Read it here: theintercept.com/2025/04/09/t...

Ruining a young woman’s life by spreading lies should be cause for being fired. In the era of Captain Orange it will probably get McAfee promoted. Sad.

It’s like every day is crazy town, but @wsj.com normalizes again and again with a “highly unusual move” headline.

HAHAHAHAHA called it.

Somehow the latest iOS update reset my recent emojis and I was low key aggravated. Apparently I use these a lot. 😬

Interfaces that assume you could have been born in 1900, and start there in the interaction. Hmmm. 🤦🏼‍♂️

How long before the Captain Orangehead claims this is a huge win… despite the fact that he caused the drop?

Good morning. Today is the 80th day that the U.S. President is running a backdoor bribery scheme in which any CEO or foreign oligarch can send him money secretly through his crypto coin scam in exchange for favors. It's the biggest scandal in the history of the Presidency.

Omg there’s a Republican with part of a spine suggestions congressional approval of tariffs. apple.news/Aes1iSWJIS02...

That I am having to try to calm my insanely valuable people who are legally working in this country so they can focus on their job of creating impact for (largely) American companies is nuts.

As countries form their tariff responses, experts are watching for tailored broadsides not at American goods, but its services. “Just wait a few weeks,” @jasonfurman.bsky.social tells Semafor. Rivals will “hit us where it hurts.” www.semafor.com/newsletters/...

Every damned word of this 4-graf brief, except “By WSJ Staff,” should scare the bejeesus out of you this morning. www.wsj.com/livecoverage...

G’ah. Realization of forgetting headphones in RTO. It’s going to be a challenging day. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Terrifying....

Ok what’s going on here? Yields are going up which means bond prices are going down. Fewer buyers of the world’s safest asset. Normally when the economy slows, there’s a flight to safety, not away from it. Means the world may be abandoning America. We are flirting with a true crisis.

In less than one week, many Americans will no longer be able to apply for Social Security benefits over the phone, setting the stage for disruptions and upheaval. Nearly 6 million seniors live more than 46.6 miles, roundtrip, from a field office, per a new analysis. trib.al/5XSPqyL
