1900s photo, smallpox vaccination: Left boy was unvaccinated and developed severe smallpox, Right boy was vaccinated and remained healthy. This pic was widely used to demonstrate the effectiveness of vaccination. Thanks to efforts like this, smallpox was officially eradicated in 1980 🧪

Vaccinate for newborns and kids under the age of 1. They can't get the measles vaccine until they are 1 year old, so by refusing vaccines you are putting children at risk.

Fires are dying down in LA, and I've finally had time to process the situation. I'm thankful for the response that the city of LA has had. The volunteer opportunities are limited because so many people are out there already, and if you check Go Fund Me you'll see incredible donations. Awesome!
