Leave it to @jfh01.bsky.social to shift this conversation out of culture war territory and into a sober assessment of where we are and the toolbox we have for the future.

Evergreen piece from @milesperhoward.bsky.social ! Massachusetts is holding Boston back from the city it could be. www.bostonglobe.com/2025/04/24/o...

I’m not kidding; this is DOGE at work; multiple US citizens getting notices that they just leave the country because USCIS is revoking their humanitarian parole. www.politico.com/news/2025/04...

Long week truly called for ice cream after school and work 🚲🍦🫡

Today getting from Rozzie to Dorchester 🚲. Am. Lgn. Hwy had flex posts before resurfacing. Was resurfaced months ago. I understand the plan for better materials, but this puts people at risk who think they’re on a protected route. @streets.boston.gov @wutrain.bsky.social @mass.streetsblog.org

Did you know that in addition to our publicly available fleet, CargoB offers mobility as a service to small businesses, community based organizations, or even municipal departments? Email us at [email protected] if you’d like to learn more!

🗣️ We do not support the City of Boston's vision for multimodal transportation outlined in their 30-day review memo. 🚍 From Blue Hill Ave to Brookline Ave, bus lanes will play a key role in advancing transportation equity, access, & safety. Read more ↓

Glad to report back that the appetite for CargoB in New York is STRONG! Thanks for having us Smart City Expo, we look forward to returning to the city soon. Also, how about that congestion pricing impact 🧑‍🍳🤌 We certainly noticed! #cargobikes #ebikes #sharedmobility #bikeshare

This is a horrifying violation of Rumeysa's constitutional rights to due process and free speech. She must be immediately released. And we won't stand by while the Trump Administration continues to abduct students with legal status and attack our fundamental freedoms.

ICE is a political weapon of the Trump admin more than ever and is terrorizing people in Mass. including those with valid papers who express certain views. Stand up for your neighbors.

25 minutes on a Wednesday morning. From Roxbury, to the Public Garden, to Gov’t Center, drivers do what ever they want at the expense of everyone else and never face any consequence in Boston @boston.gov @mayorwu.boston.gov @mass.streetsblog.org @boston311.bsky.social @bostoncitycouncil.bsky.social

So great to celebrate the opening of Pine Street Inn’s new supportive housing building in JP today! And as always, our state rep Sam Montaño keeping it real. So many years to make this project happen.

"I had a close call today as a truck came swerving into the bike lane to get to the liquor store near Victoria's Diner. I believe that if bollards were there, they wouldn't have dared to do that," Dorchester resident Bharath Miriyam told StreetsblogMASS. mass.streetsblog.org/2025/03/05/b...

Got to hang out with our friends from The Buck yesterday! 🚲🎓

It’s a very strange feeling to be leaving my role at PIH after 9+ years. Sharing some photographs that I had the privilege of making for the organization. This work, and those I got to work alongside have made such a huge impact on my life. All images © Partners In Health.

I can’t believe it - after years of advocacy, exclusionary zoning has ended in Cambridge. We just passed the single most comprehensive rezoning in the US—legalizing multifamily housing up to 6 stories citywide in a Paris style Here’s the details 🧵

Boston’s public perception is totally whitewashed by mass media, the Wahlbergs, Afflecks (from Cambridge btw), San Adams beer, etc. Boston has the third-largest Haitian population of any American city. Our public school system is intentional in welcoming newcomers from all over the world.

I was just told that I have to remove “climate” from the title of an ongoing grant if I want to keep it. And publications from that grant cannot include “climate” and other forbidden words. I can’t believe I’m writing this from the United States of America. #AcademicSky

Today marks 16 years clean and in recovery from active drug addiction. Grateful for who I’ve shared gotten to share life and recovery with. Thinking about the many of close friends who have died of this disease and those working to make treatment and longterm recovery more accessible and abundant.
