Made it back to Waterloo and just about missed the 23:24 Alton service by a few minutes, but not all hope is lost yet. Taking 450077 and 450079 to Woking as they work 2B77 to Eastleigh in order to try and overtake and catch 1A77 from there.

Decided to ditch the 350s at Rugby in favour of a Pendo to finish the night off as originally planned, and I’m certainly glad we made that choice. Even if it’s a bit later, I can now relax and have a seat on the way back to Euston. 😌 390138 arrives in working 1M18 from Glasgow.
