Just remembered a thing that could be a good, very simple example of how Musk actually does 'efficiency and cost saving' If people don't use stuff very often, or he doesn't personally like it, it's gone, doesn't matter how useful it is at the times you do use or need the things.

Of all the times the Lancer would decide to break, it had to pick the drive to Mom's to throw several overheating warnings (first for the transmission followed by going into limp mode, and then repeatedly for the engine until I was basically speed-limited by the temp gauge).

Used to do my top ten cars of the year on the other site so doing it here this year instead. Kicking off with the one I bought, my 2009 NC MX-5. NC1 is far better than the reputation that precedes it. Think this needs some road trips/track days next year.

As much as it pains me to say this and for other people to read this, crossover SUVs are the best car shape. It checks the most boxes for the most people. - you can fit a lot of crap inside - you can move a lot of people - fuel efficient enough - tall for old people - safe for young people
