Ok, holy shit, there is a LOT more to this story than was initially reported. Joss wasn't shot in a "dispute between neighbors": he was shot saving his newlywed husband from a premeditated murder that was actually a follow-up to an act of arson earlier this year. Both homophobic hate crimes.
