Seems to me that header include guards and pragma once and all that is programmer cope. I'm not mistaken when I say it only solves a human problem and not a technical one, right?

I'm not a pro artist, but I enjoy #drawing and making #art! Since 2015, I've tried to draw this character to see my progress. Here's the one I did to cap of 2024. (check replies for prev years). I'm not sure exactly in what ways I improved from 2023 (right) to 2024 (left), what do you think?

Sometimes you see posts on forums where they are so wrong on so many levels and doing it in a confident manner. Perhaps game development got too accessible...

A while ago I flew around in Dark Souls 3 to better understand how they're able to make such great vistas. Here's one trick, parallax occlusion textures for big distant forests!

I've begun upgrading my pet engine to SDL3, so it's only fitting I also upgrade it from 2D to 3D. While I don't understand everything of the examples, I was able to get a triangle on screen from nothing in less than a day. I was never able to get this far with Vulkan itself, so this is great!:D
