"Write Donald Trump's first 100 days in the voice of Donald Trump" they said. "Can do!" I said. "Although obviously it would be deranged to do literally every day!" Then I did literally every day. www.thetimes.com/article/e15a...

If truth is merely #marketing, and facts are what we feel, and lies we tell get clicks and sell, then we are screwed, for real. #vss365 www.dcswanson.com

“Aye, right” is best Scottish response to their pretence this was plan all along.

About Starmers (overly?) cautious approach toward Trump and the risk of 'letting the muscle memory of an old transatlantic partnership obscure the reality of what is now happening.' Another v good column by @rafaelbehr.bsky.social

Tango & Cash might be my favourite

I really thought this government might stick up for the public sector and its successes, small and big, but the dominant message continues to be negative. It’s incredibly disappointing.

If you’re drawn to a politician because they promise to be cruel to Muslims or Jews or immigrants or gays or transgender people etc, the least you should do - the absolute, bare bones, still morally vacuous least - is ask yourself whether they’re likely to stop at the group you want to see targeted.

Me when someone’s coming over

local former magazine editor discovers that.....actions?........have consequences?

No need for subtlety here.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about peace just plundering the natural resources of bombed, raped and pillaged lands. He’s a common thief stealing from corpses in the wreckage whilst siding with the perpetrator and there’s not enough words in the English language to describe how much I hate the bastard.

Could we petition #bluesky for a ‘for fucks sake’ button alongside ‘like’. Cause that’s me on repeat as I doom scroll in this insane era.

If you want to win an election against far right opposition you need to bring together two groups. The activated liberals outraged by the other side and the more moderate groups who want govt to make their lives less difficult. Not by trying to win the enthusiastic supporters of the other side.
