I was checking the BBC TV for today. It's Saturday so there is a huge amount of sport. BBC2 lists five hours of Fleetwood Mac, all apparently well-aged repeats. There is room for repeats, but a lump that size — BBC1 is not a single sport or just a recording — is abusive.

Here in Britain one of the slightly less horrible supermarkets is branded Lidl, owned by one of the two German Lidl companies. We are seeing reports of flour shortages in Britain. Lidl, on the 27th, is starting a sale related to Pancake Day. It includes flour. Stocks won't last.

Accord to a history published by the Federation of Bakers (FOB) in the UK, the first sliced loaf in Britain was sold in 1930, under the Wonderbread brand. The slice-and-wrap process was banned under wartime rationing until 1950. Some later details in their story feel like lies.

This bear cannot recommend using an Amazon Fire tablet. They are built in a quasi-Android system which is run to give limited working life. After a couple of years Amazon kills software updates, and leave you wide open to abuse and hacking.

There is a line in #BladeRunner which comes early in the movie, when Deckard is reminded that there are little guys and cops. If he walks out, he isn't a cop so he doesn't have a choice. So he goes back to being a killer. Hollywood wants you to pay for that reminder.

#BritishSupermarkets Some British supermarkets have clocktowers. It's sometimes called the "Essex Barn" style. The Morrisons at the SE corner in Scunthorpe is one. The idea started as a way to blend with town centre architecture. But does the clock work? Many of them don't.

UK followers. Please sign this petition to lift restrictions to prescribing puberty blockers for trans children. Last week I learnt Finasteride - the drug Alice was prescribed because her GP refused to administer a puberty blocker - causes suicidal ideation. The PB ban puts trans youth at risk.
