After Columbia knuckled under to Trump, I was worried that Harvard would do the same. I wrote Harvard a letter instead of a check this year, encouraging them to resist Trump. It would seem that they read my letter (OK, maybe not just mine). Now I will keep my promise to double my annual donation.

I have been subscribed to the NYT for news. I do not appreciate their sane-washing of the current administration, or their tossing my favorite columnist, Paul Krugman. And now prices are going from 12 to 18/month. Time to find another news source. Suggestions?

I did not send my annual donation to Harvard this year but wrote them a note urging them to stand up against Trump’s intimidation. I’m happy to give them a 10x larger donation next year if they find their spines. I hope they do!
