On Saved by the Bell College years, Professor Jeremiah Lasky has a Boston Red Sox jersey hanging in the background of his office. Right above the jersey is a reprint of a Diamond Stars Lefty Grove baseball card.

Tony Oliva with his 1964 American League Rookie of the Year award.

I am watching a baseball game from 2018. Greg Holland maybe the sole reason that the pitch clock was introduced. Come on man pick it up a little bit!

I would have no problem if #Topps decided to put the True Photo variation cards in at a rate of one per pack instead of the Stars of MLB cards.

Expanding Rosters! During the 1993 season, the Florida Marlins had 43 players on the roster with 18 pitchers, plus 6 coaches. During the 2024 season, the Marlins had 70 players on the roster, with 41 pitchers, plus 25 coaches.

During our trip I picked up this AP photograph of Sandy Koufax batting during Game 5 of the 1965 World Series at Dodger Stadium.

That awkward moment when you wake up in bed next to your coach and there is a camera there to capture it all. They staged some strange photographs for the newspapers in the early days. Daily News September 21, 1940

New goal achieved on @immaculategrid.com. The Christy Mathewson grid is complete. I am coming for you next Delahanty. ⬇️ McLemore Aybar Tanana Hampton Embree Willis Stubbs Osuna Newsom

Useless Facts: Barry Bonds has hit one home run versus the Minnesota Twins, and he hit it off a man named Mays.

I am looking for a copy of this November 1995 Mastro Auction catalog.

On December 3, 1938 Newspapers reported the tragic death of 25 year old pitcher Stuart "Slim" Jones in Baltimore, Maryland.

A look in at the Chicago White Sox office. Manager Will Venable: We lost Garrett Crochet and Michael Kopech, so we need to replace those strikeout numbers. General manager Chris Getz: Find more strikeouts. Got it! #Whitesox #chisox

I just opened my first pack of 2025 Topps. The design looked ok in photos. However, in hand the foil boarder is completely unnecessary and distracting.

My new favorite Immaculate Grid Board. Hearts when you figure out why it is a masterpiece.

Ok who scheduled the midwestern snow storm on #Topps flagship release day?

Here is a Souvenir for Collectors of Baseball Pictures! Even in 1949, the Vancouver Sun Newspaper knew this photograph was one for the ages. Larry Doby, Satchel Paige, and Jackie Robinson talking before an exhibition game.

The biopic Jackie Robinson Story got it's first spark in 1946 when Lawrence Taylor (not the football player) saw Jackie at a public appearance. Read why it took until May of 1950 for the film to hit theaters. Muscatine Journal August 5, 1950.

When you are watching the big game tonight remember that Kansas City took Philadelphia’s baseball team.

HOFer Carl Hubbell Sporting News Contract Card. He had a strong minor league career before being picked up by the Detroit Tigers. They let him get away and he was sold to the New York Giants where he is best remembered. See more player contract cards from LA84 at digital.la84.org/digital/coll...

If I know going into the MLB season that I am probably a fringe major leaguer and will be shipped back and forth multiple times to the minors, I am looking to sign with the Twins. Their minor league team is 15 miles away. There is no relocating or trying to find an apartment as you switch teams.

I think someone forgot to give Panini the heads up that Luka was getting traded. 🤣

On this day in 1978 former Red Sox pitcher Devern Hansack was born in Pearl Harbor, Nicaragua and I was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota. However, on October 1, 2006 Hansack was throwing a 5 inning no-hitter and I was probably doing homework.

Do these things with multiple player photographs have an official name?

Trivia: Cap Anson has the record for most seasons without ever having a negative WAR at 27. What two players post-1900 hold the record with 24 seasons?

People are talking about the Luka Doncic trade, but let's look back at the lopsided Wilt Chamberlain trade of January 15, 1965, when he was 29. Philadelphia 76s receives Wilt Chamberlain San Francisco Warriors receives Connie Dierking Paul Neumann Lee Shaffer Cash

Just out here blasting homers on @dailywalkoff.com

A couple of my custom cards from way back in the day. Even back then I was all about the ZB. Randy Moss is my 1998 design. I can’t find my horrible 1999 design. Cristian Guzman is my 2000 design. Campy & Paige is a retired players set.
