Hahaha, thank you! I have so many more of these on my hard drive, one day I'll illustrate them all (adding to Pile of Dreams)

Thank you Kerry! Yes, this one is definitely based on a true story 😁 Happily my bigger kid can now read to my littler kid, so my falling asleep doesn't bring story time crashing down anymore πŸ˜…

Thank you! I love yours, the atmosphere is so emotionally true - like, we've all been there, next to a big looming darkness... bravo πŸ‘

I know! it's so easy to get stuck focused on all the things you're NOT doing (not making enough content, not writing enough, not finishing enough, not on enough platforms, etc. etc.) - milestones (like book birthdays) are a good reminder to give that pat on the back.

I like to separate things into "Dreams" and "Goals". A Dream is something I would love to happen but is further outside my control (e.g. I Dream of quitting my day job to be a full-time artist). A Goal is something I can do and quantify. (e.g. I will make 10 portfolio pieces in 2025) #kidlitart

You might enjoy @schrill-art.bsky.social if you don't already follow her. She makes lovely textured brushes for Procreate and your art reminds me of hers in some ways ☺️
