Does anyone in the #bikesky community have any thoughts on the Aventon Pace 500.3 vs the Aima Santa Monica? I slightly preferred the quality of the Aima but it’s $300 more expensive and heavier, preventing me from being able to load it onto a bus bike rack if needed. #ebikes

LA Metro did a great job of plastering Van Nuys G Line Station w/ notices about the closure but there is nothing on the bike path in the area of the detour, which is less good! There are already crews out there prepping to setup barricades for midnight tonight!

Ohh I’m glad I saw this. I thought tomorrow was the final day of service. Gonna go for one last ride later tonight then through Van Nuys station before it’s gone for the next three years!

obviously the project could be more efficient but it's such a failure of comunication that CAHSR has a reputation as "california's boondoggle" when they've only spent like $13B in 16 years and built almost 120 miles of greenfield rail that'll be among the fastest in the world

My Dad got our California e-bike incentive program voucher approved. Toured a couple of approved bike shops and found one I really like. Never ridden an e-bike before but they let me do a test ride and WOW! Like I was already bought into the e-bike hype, but boy do I sure get it more now!

My LA Metro area feed is on a new host, @graze.social that provides better feed stats. It's ranged from 42-56 daily (unique) users.
