This week has genuinely been super rough on me for a variety of reasons. But I'm doing what I can to trudge along day by day. At least I can look forward to more Monster Hunter Wilds and the New Elden Ring network test this weekend.

I almost never do anything nice or buy anything nice/expensive for myself. Most of my extra money usually goes to gifting/helping friends, charities, others, etc.. But for once I saved up a little bit of money to build a nice device for myself that will hopefully last a while.

PC Saga Update: Nothing was damaged or destroyed. There was a "miscommunication" with UPS, and the box just needed to be repackaged. It sounded super fucking fishy to me. But my PC arrived tonight. Everything was there & looked fine. I'll test everything in the AM. This was stupid 🤦

UPS pretty much damaged/destroyed my PC before they could deliver it. And it wasn't cheap. Now they have to send it back and I have to wait weeks for a new one. I let the vendor know ahead of time, but this still completely sucks with how long I've waited already.

Next week I'll be making a bold move and asking for a raise. 33% to be exact. It's actually what I should be getting paid. So I think I at least deserve that conversation since I am the IT department for an entire company.
