My longtime friend who is a graphic designer would use ChatGPT for personal stuff and I frowned upon it. He cancelled his subscription when it stopped ripping off IP. Kid you not.

Based on the users comments they are using it to analyze the contents of images. I understand your point on over reliance but also it's not 1 to 1 use case. They aren't using it as a search tool. Google is also becoming a worse product with every passing day.
