Always worth reminding though. The VAST majority of abuse I get, by orders of magnitude, is from people who consider themselves liberals or progressives. Some of them are phenomenally cruel. a lot of people decide they're on the good team and then act incredibly mean.

"how do we deal with the worst folks on the right" is a bit and complicated question. But I think the way I spend my days is a clue to what I think the answer is. Folks need a LOT of political education and guidance. Folks don't understand the systems that are screwing them.

''Your theory is wrong, mine is right, everything would be fine if everyone did as I say''
Which is paradoxical since the left-right spectrum was originally all about distribution of the powers of the king.
Must be a human thing cause it seems the same on the right.
We hate in others what we try to repress in ourselves, and we see it everywhere.
What I hate the most is autocrats.
I would love to be in charge but you know, just dont let me.
Literally saying I'm a Poilievre stan because I think a neoliberal banker isn't the answer to our problems.
Ah well, keep doing great Steve!
But yeah, the Liberals on here are awful and self righteous while supporting a status quo centre right banker as if he's a revolutionary.
But he is still at least partially to blame for their collapse. You can discuss the nuance of the situation but the fact is over his tenure they went from 50 to 7 seven seats.
