Having been in a similar line, I totally understand the strategy of being there early (we also won our bestest rescue kitten, but that may have been because we had the saddest story with a <3y/o rescue cat who died after 6 months of chemo for lymphoma). Thank you for rescuing! Lucky Princess Peach!
Congratulations. Having gone through the process a couple of times, I understand having to be there early. Our last puppy, we adopted in Oct 24, had at least one other family interested in him.
