The professional regulator, APEGA, did a professional practice review on the water main break in Calgary. The engineers at the City of Calgary are awesome & they didn't do anything wrong. In the late 60s & early 70s there was bad pipe; in 1974 Calgary bought some of it. www.apega.ca/docs/default...

Involuntarily care is forced treatment! This institution, located adjacent to the Aluette correctional facility, is more reminiscent of a jail than a home. The fact that people can be detained indefinitely, makes this potentially worse than a jail sentence. #BCpoli www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
