Engage is really fun! The story is much more cliche and predictable than 3H tho unfortunately so, if you’re looking for a great story, you’re not gonna find it here (imo). The gameplay and visuals are awesome though, plus it has some really cool tracks

Apparently it’s just that the resolution is lower in handheld mode for some reason. Engage is solid, but @korokconnoisseur.bsky.social said it perfectly. Engage has great mechanics and great maps but I started to skip every cutscene after a while and didn’t really like any of the characters.

Yeah to each their own! I think on some level I just wanted Three Houses 2 and it was very different from that. I always commend the series for testing out new directions though, so I eagerly await to see what’s next

I mean I definitely think there's some fun characters, so I guess opinions might differ, would definitely still recommend to try it out if you can find the game for a good price

Yea it has its fans. I think it’s safe to say it’s a weaker cast than three houses. It’s more the kind of FE game where you get like a hundred characters and they’re all more one note. There are a handful that were fun but overall I just wasnt interested.
