While the practice is by no means new under Trump, the public are now seeing a lot more how ICE routinely disregards the law on warrantless arrests, which may only be done if the officer has "reason to believe that the person is likely to escape before a warrant can be obtained."

Again, they aren't required to show anyone, let alone rando protesters, their warrant.
