And it's making readers and viewers seek for more of what they believe it's true even among works of art produced by humans. Today, the act of interpretation is the act of adjusting personal feelings with twisted ideas about the world.
GenAI/LLM boosters have a lot in common with the more lunatic gun rights people -- the ones who want easy access to fully automatics and supressors -- in that their personal ideal use case always outweighs other more systemic concerns, and they never have any ideas how to address those.
We shouldn't have tolerated any of that "I know he didn't really do that really bad thing, but it's believable and says something about that kind of people," stuff before. Because the other lot do lies so much more convincingly.
