This is really helpful, thanks for putting it together! I’d note that US residents (not just citizens) should feel free to contact their rep/senators. Elected officials represent all constituents of their districts/state.

Thanks for putting this together. A big problem at nih right now is failure to post meetings to the federal register, which prevents grant review and funding decisions. Might be worth mentioning in the explainer (I didn't see it there)

Thanks, this detail was percolating up as we had just finalized the text so it didn't make it into the draft that got posted. It might be worthwhile for us to try to add to this over time as the landscape changes with updates.
