I have had many students from West Point in my classrooms. They have been among the widest read, philosophically astute students I have ever taught. Senior officers even more so. I have admired their former instructors for making a broad range of works relevant to them.

While I'm pleased as punch that to learn that West Point has a philosophy department, it's a huge loss that the real Graham Parsons isn't on the staff.
