Another would sing popular songs. He had a great voice.
When I got off by the front door, I'd say thanks and have a nice day.
I also did the same in Florida as a teen and they would tell me that nobody ever thanked them before...
Before Jan20 we spent plenty of time in Orlando and Las Vegas (though not on the Deuce) and 50% of riders thanked the driver, maybe more.
Just saying we Canadians have not cornered the market on this.

We as Canadians feel a responsibility towards others. Hence, our health care, etc.
