A month or two of inpatient treatment might seem wholly inadequate but you run into serious ethical questions if you impose a harsher sentence for attempted suicide
Yes but an unscrupulous fishermen will do it. Also the Indian government DID CONTACT the Sentinelese in the 1970s and they eventually told an anthropologist they wish to be left alone and the Indian government respected that. But since a brown person did the contact it doesn’t count?
Their neighbors on the other islands were brutally kidnapped as worked to death for the various colonial powers, the Japanese massacred a few for no reason during a retreat, and they fear illness being spread from outsiders. So isolation was a rational choice for them.
They fly a helicopter over the island every so often with a thermal camera I think to make sure they’re still there after disasters like cyclones or tsunami
Oooh, I guess my head filled in more details and was like "They sent someone to jab them with the shot" but they'd be suspectible to every other sickness then.
any time an influencer talks about visiting we should respect the wishes of the sentinelese and immediately launch several dozen spears at their prone body
it is my fervent and honestly held belief that shock/outrage youtubers need to receive severe punishments to dissuade them and their imitators from continuing

Even if the Sentinelese don't kill them they'll probably get thrown in some hellhole prison
