i dunno man "dems need to move to the center on cultural issues" has always just seen to me like a way to make sure there's no air to talk about other possible moves like shifting the party from the right back toward the center on issues like campaign finance reform

those were not right-leaning ballot returns
While many of the worst groups didn't surge to leadership, they broadly still made gains and are still making gains and the mostly centrist groups that have retained power are ceding to the right on policy at varying rates. Ergo the thread.
3 doesn't count for a battery of reasons, not the least of which being the nature of the Roman Catholic Church. It's also not Anglosphere.
That’s why I said “Western”.
Three counts. And any disputation of that fact is a failure of the imagination.
Why are you arguing just to argue? Go cool off.
We can debate shifts within coalitions, but no electorate was confused.
the answer: aaaaahahahahaha no.
Die by a two party system
That's also "moving to the center"
Fuckin, no thanks.
Some things are just wrong and need to be called out.
I'll do better next time.
I wasn't genuinely saying the first part, it was meant as a comparison for telling someone to "move to the center.
Sorry about that. I meant no thanks to the " movimg to the center" rhetoric because it's dangerous.
I don't need meds. Perhaps you do? Or maybe you need to learn how to read beyond one sentence?
Even if you meant to put quotes around it, you were still fantasizing about domestic violence
Does that mean therapists who discuss these issues in textbooks or conversation are fantasizing about the topic?
I get it, I'll never make a mistake again lol
Sorry about that 🤷♂️
I'll make sure to use quotes and be direct in my fucked up comparisons in the future.
Glad at least someone saw what I was going for.
Swing voters aren’t centrists as many like to claim. They don’t respect weakness of convictions. Better for Dems to own it than attempt this middle ground where they’re apologizing for themselves
