I’ve had surgery for that on both hands. Putting on a bra was THE WORST. I found the one-piece style with no clasp the best option. I practiced many times pulling one over my head with one hand.
Yeah I was just in so much fucking pain wearing one that I had to stop running to make that post asking if anyone can recommend one that doesn’t suck lol. So in a way I guess my life is different now!
Also quite real. You could find one made with a little cheaper fabric so it has a tiny bit more give than some of the MegaElasto Antioxygen boob wrappers out there. The elastic will fail quicker but at least you could breathe in the meantime. (Ask me how I know)
Ha well like I said in the OP here I just want advice for an exact front zip bra that actually has support that I can put on without hurting my fucked up tendinitis wrist. I don’t want to be doing bonus accessory stuff or crafts lol
I got an incredible front-closing high-impact bra from Lane Bryant recently but idk what their size range is bc it's the only place I shop bc I Am Large
UnderArmour makes a high impact zip up sports bra that genuinely works for high impact even up to a D/DD! Also, my extreme sympathies—my de quervain’s flared up a few months ago and it was debilitatingly miserable
They do hook in the back but are super comfortable and great for high impact. I’m also a nail girlie so I get it!! Not going to say I’ve never broken a nail with their bras but they have a better track record than most for me.
Yeah they’re what I wear to run. But I have tendinitis so my left wrist and hand are in a splint. That’s why I’m asking for front hooking bras in this thread. Because I cannot wear the back hooking bras. It’s not my nails? it’s the searing hot pain of the injury.
Sheefit - women owned no clasp there is a strap you adjust to the front or code and the front straps are easy to adjust. I was a G cup and wore these to Orange Theory for running. Only one I ever found that works. And they lasted for 5 plus years
I love their pants too. I bought new ones at beginning of COVID - work from home so I live in them. They have lasted all these years. They give you a laundry bag for both. I recommend washing and hanging up to dry! Plus women owned!
hello yes I am crazy and I was running 5 miles in my surgical bra two weeks out from a lumpectomy. The good: front closing, Velcro, VERY constricting, nothing moved. The bad: hard to breathe, but I was really needing to not bounce. Loved the longline from Masthead.
Honestly I think that’s part of the issue here. I don’t think these are particularly popular outside of someone needing a front hook, in which case is you’re probably not doing cardio
I enjoyed Shefit as well but they were difficult to clean and I experienced some chaffage. I have since learned about Lysol detergent sanitizer but no longer have the Shefits: I think it would have helped me tho because fit was great
I think I was already using sanitizer in my laundry so maybe that's why I didn't have any issues cleaning them. Luckily for me, I didn't experience any chaffing, so they've been my go-to high impact bras for a while.
Years ago when I started running and had suffered through trying two dozen useless bras, I was torn between panache and shefit. I ultimately went with panache, which was great and now I own like 10 of them. Guess I should have tried the shefit cuff ugh.
I just got a Shefit and thought it was pretty good. I’m a DD, wore it at a touch rugby tournament (whole day, super hot, 3.5 hrs of running forwards and backwards) and didn’t have any issues.

Both hands! Oh my god that’s brutal, I’m sorry.
It is real

I’m an Anita person, but cannot personally vouch for their front closure bras.
