Quarter scale, cat-themed replica of Spooky Pinball's game.
Plays quite well, thanks to donor parts from a toy and some real pinball parts.
Also has a car door speaker inside, so it plays Scott Danesi's awesome soundtrack LOUD

Back when batteries were super expensive too
Funny. New Wave Toys sold a replica 1/6 scale pinball machine for $180 and it's not even playable.
(It cost like $400..)
And in a much better form tbh.
Pay entry and free-play games all day
The others just have lights and sound
I would absolutely play it like a real board. What's the High Score? 😼
Originally the ball escaped into the air many times 😂
Did you do this mostly from scratch? How hard was the set up and make? x3 custom themed pinball machines are so awesome ^~^
I just traced it and rethemed to some sort of atomic cat.
Building it was all custom. Lots of hacked bits and printed boards
The ball is SO TINY and weighs nothing, so anything to slow it down a bit helped
They are at the back and pull on RC car steering linkages to move the flippers, since there isn't room directly below them.
But the ball only weighs two grams, so I'm not sure the forces involved are enough to break anything.
Glad it actually worked haha
The flipper buttons have full size contacts too (nobody makes tiny ones), so they feel weirdly familiar
They are about $6 and run on 5v
