i found out that my back gives out often because every part of my body is stretchier than “normal” EXCEPT for my hamstrings. so every now and then i’ll move in just such a way where my hamstrings limit my lower back movements but the rest of my body keeps going causing my back to overreact.
so now i get to not only strengthen my core muscles so it’s not just my back doing the work of keeping my spine together but also work on getting my overly tight hamstrings to a normal stretchiness.
