In conclusion, any mf'ers criticising Bram Stoker's Dracula should be made to sit down & watch this thing in order to see what a misfiring adaptation of a Gothic horror epistolary novel really looks like 10/10

Love Coppola's Dracula but increasingly think it's one of the rare 2hr movies that would benefit from being 3hr's or longer

Branagh's Frankenstein was also highly anticipated by me: I'm a huge fan of the story (obviously), and De Niro is my favorite actor. However, I was left deeply disappointed, and I lay all of the blame on Branagh and his storied rampant ego at the time.
