Please don’t give up.
Many of us do it freelance or part-time, & often it's not seen as a serious career choice by academics *despite* common agreement that misinformation must be countered
Overlooking SciCommers to instead invoke teens (broad & vague itself) to do the job strikes me as insane given a) how influential anti-science ideologies are right now, b) being a teen is already hard work!
Co-creation is exactly right - we should be building each other up, not furthering exploitation.
