I get the view about differential treatment but does this decision harm villa at all?

Also, the difference here is that Man Utd would otherwise have an advantage over spurs if both reach the final

The final game of the season being moved to a weeknight - so the club has to cancel fan events that were planned for after the game, with less than two weeks' notice when people have already booked travel and accomodation, does indeed negatively impact Villa and its fans.

That's the thing, they've opened the floodgates now. Say Fulham or Bournemouth get Conference League football, if Man City win the FA Cup - or if Palace win and get Europa League. Are they going to rearrange ahead of big League Phase games? Just as important as a final for them.

I know i've just seen it. A f*cking JOKE, no precedent for it. We never received any help when we got to the Conference SF. It's now fixed for Friday 16th even if Spurs get knocked out!/🤬 F*cking preferential treatment for the 'Big' clubs
