it’s staggering how obnoxious of a self-insert she comes off as, just “what if there was a girl who’s the nicest person ever, never does anything wrong and is so special, the most greatest girl in the world that it made everyone fall in love with her” to a degree that could make twilight blush
anna’s performance is as good as anyone could do with what they gave her but oh my god it’s hands down the least interesting character in the entire show, even the show seemed to realize it in the back half and would avoid writing her into storylines at all costs
i like when the druid god makes an old lady play dead space on the wii as a form of orgiastic decadence in season 2. i cannot stress how unhinged the final seasons get, it has one of the biggest train wreck endings i’ve ever witnessed, and somehow alexander skarsgard still makes it watchable
