I once watched a 3am HBO special on fetishes. One dude desired to be in a tub filled with spaghetti-os. So are we gonna get rid of canned food cuz some rando gets hard when he sees it? JFC.

It's fun to mock things like this, but this is very close to how obscenity laws have historically been used to ban books in carceral settings. Moreover, the goal would almost certainly be to censor queer art and representation. (See for example: R's hot takes on Gender Queer).
Very obviously an overbroad law designed to be applicable to virtually anything, that can then actually be enforced against only those things / people the government dislikes.
I just hope SCOTUS has not been so corrupted that they'd let it stand.
"There's nothing about that definition that I think would survive constitutional review," says @thefireorg.bsky.social chief counsel Robert Corn-Revere
It's "so broad" that Game of Thrones could be obscene, says @riccilevy.bsky.social of @woodhullfreedom.bsky.social
Think about this - once you remove the qualifier "intent" it becomes irrelevant if it's a medical textbook showing genitalia or if it's adult content. Call your legislators and make sure they know to vote "no"
