We already have the chair of the EHRC gleefully expressing trans people will be excluded from everywhere. How are we meant to function in society and when will people stop both sidesing this erasure of recognition in law?

The ruling is being weaponised and the media seems to be doing nothing to counteract it. I was so pleased to read the Lib Dem statement and to know you get it. Please don’t give up. An “equalities” ruling that looks likely to do great great harm and cruelty… and promote further inequality.

There was nothing wrong until the Supreme Court made this ruling. Trans ppl could generally use same sex spaces according to their acquired sex unless there was a legitimate reason to exclude.

This ruling says trans people MUST be excluded and CAN be excluded from their "birth sex" spaces as well.
