The Monégasque national anthem has no right to slap that hard.

On Biodiversity Day, let's celebrate all the fantastic progress in Oxfordshire, with dedicated volunteers, community groups, the universities, and our councils working to restore habitats, and protect out local environment. You can help too 👇 www.climateactionoxfordshire.org.uk

@vikkislademp.bsky.social is an absolute saint.

I put my library on shuffle and "I am disappeared" by Frank Turner came on and now I'm crying. Probably worth interrogating.

“In the face of right-populism, LibDems are not running away from the battle for equal rights for all” We are pleased to see Cllr Dylan Tippetts who resigned from Labour last week over their stance on trans rights, joined the Liberal Democrats Welcome on board Dylan 🧡🏳️‍⚧️

Absolute grim. This country should be ashamed of itself. We led Europe on LGBT+ rights a decade ago.

I'm hopeful key players in the Party such as @laylamoran.bsky.social and @tomgordonld.bsky.social can pressure Ed to rectify this action. I know that he's not a bigot. Time for him to actually tell us.

Honestly on reflection this response is exactly what many LibDems should have had. We're not doing enough. I'm really quite frustrated at the LGBT+ Org right now.

By the way, if you're sharing that clip of Ed Davey that a certain Labour apologist is spreading around, be aware that that was directly after (like, within the hour) the court ruling, and Ed was under the impression that the ruling had gone the way everyone expected it to, not the way it did.

A disappointing decision to ban political parties from Manchester Pride. As an MP who consistently speaks up for LGBTQ+ rights, I believe now is the time to challenge parties to do better - not shut them out. This isn’t accountability, it’s letting them off the hook.

A letter to The Guardian.

I need 5 people to sign to make this petition to the UK Parliament to pass primary legislation urgently restore full legal recognition for trans people. Please click on the link ✅ petition.parliament.uk/petitions/72...

Australians I'm sorry TimTams just aren't very good. Penguin biscuits are better.

God I love listening to Bridget Phillipson rabbiting on about how she's acting to protect "women and trans people." It's gross.

If what you're seeing is a lot of angry trans people online, this might be why. 3 years ago, "biological male" was a term of abuse thrown at trans women by anti-trans folk. It first appeared on the BBC in Sept 22 when Ed Davey was interviewed by Justin Webb. Today, that abuse is law.

I'm not doing well.

Trans. Men. Are. Not. A. Gotcha.

Keir Starmer just said we aren't women in an official statement. I hope all Labour Members have the same feeling right now:

Far from being feminist, assuming people are 'male until proven otherwise' is about as patriarchal as you can get. This Labour government is monstrous. Performative cruelty in a red tie is as bad as performative cruelty in a blue one. Worse, as they led us to expect better. 🥀 We're organising. 🔶✊🏳️‍⚧️

It's something I guess, but still crucially misses calling out how monstrous the supreme court ruling is. The Supreme Court is not Sovereign. Parliament is.
