True. Common language for some of us but I suspect a small minority. This just seems like a good example to demonstrate how the Alberta state steps up as agent for the industry - even when it doesn't need the support (meanwhile defunding the most vulnerable eg Bill 39).

I understand the need for investment and utilization of our natural resources but this is outrageous. Look at the profit the oil and gas companies make compared to other critical industries. They have a right to defend themselves but to claim any type of disadvantage is beyond parody.
