A visit to a tulip farm near St Catharines, ON, was a great way to spend a sunny morning.

When googling produces conflicting answers, if possible, call the source. (In my case I called the car rental agency in Copenhagen to ask if we need an IDP to rent. We don't, so yay, and boo to the sources that said we do. I'm looking at you, gov.ca.)

Canada went through its 45th federal election last night. Let's see how the election's results compare with others in Canadian history. The voter turnout was about 67%. Canada has not exceeded 70% since 1993. This was the third-highest turnout of the 21st century. 🧵1/12

“The charter of rights and freedoms exists to protect Canadians from people like us on stage, politicians who may use their power to override fundamental rights. The issue is not where you start, but where you stop.” #CanadaVotes
