Oh man I have thoughts! It really depends on what you're trying to do. The three most obnoxious but true answers are:
- Track saw
- Band saw
- Saw Stop

My first table saw was a Rigid but it didn't work out for me.

Long term project is to build a Japanese soaking tub. Planning on learning simple joints to build a small and accidentally askew jewelry box, and work my way up over the next decade or so.

(Need a way to make cleaner more precise cuts, wanna learn joinery)
