so far I've seen "play as an Earther, Martian, or Belter" and given that you've always been able to play as a female in other Owlcat RPGs I would be shocked if you were locked to male

I don't think I've played one before! it's always my first question and I am running around clicking on things like SOMEONE TELL ME SOMEONE TELL ME LOLOL
I once went viral (in the bad way) on twitter for telling someone my 3 rules about games are: I want to be able to play as a lady, I don't want it to be full of sexual violence, and I don't want to be forced into multiplayer.
apparently I did a crime against gaming by saying this.
I LOVED Horizon Zero Dawn!!! I have not actually played the sequel yet b/c it took forever to come out on PC, but that is on my list for if I ever stop being on deadline!!!
I think I skipped them because for some reason I have a grudge against Pathfinder though I honestly can't remember why. LOL it must have been one of our annoying games but not traumatic (like rolemaster lol)
Wrath of the Righteous lets you play a lady and has an amazing amount of variety in the way your lady knight commander can then proceed to be a paragon of virtue, a annoying little shit, or a walking warcrime.
Importantly, its not just those three options, there are nuances. Trickster can be a straight chaotic loki run, but Azata is the 'fae chaos for good'. Demon/Devil are seperate, but you also have Swarm-that-walks and Lich.

it's got staggering replayability with all the mythic paths, plus lots of fun romance options (including I Can Fix Her, Wait No I Can't)
