It was annoying. Still is. Overall, however, the reaction to Dorian was very positive. The number of straight men who said they romanced him still pleases me. The number of fans who privately contacted me who'd been through conversion therapy, some who said Dorian helped them survive? Well. Gosh. π

I always had a bit of 'I can't be, I don't find those guys attractive' and then Dorian proved I did have a type.
I still didn't fully embrace it for years after, bur Dorian helped me start to explore it.
So yeah. He'll always be my boi. And I'll always be thankful Bio gave me this opportunity. β€οΈ
What an interesting read. Thank you :D
I immediately fell in love with Dorian when I found him in Inquisition. I love how you write
What's the deal with his necromancy though! Was that just out of need to link a mage specialization to him, or was there-
Also, in one of my many, many play-throughs of the game I did romance him with a Qunari Inquisitor and it was amazing! Kudos to you David!
I love Dorian. He strikes very close to home, being a patriot of a country that's hated everywhere, and with good fucking reason. And he agrees it's rotten, but he still loves it and tries hard to make it better.

Sometimes I play DAI controlling him as my βmainβ character. :)
Dorian is my favorite character in the DA world. I love his sarcasm, his wit, his intelligence, and his peserverance. Ramon Tikaram absolutely was the right choice to voice him too!
