'What have we unleashed' 🫨 How do YOU think our friend @jessecox.bsky.social sounds as Angel? 👀 Jesse recently had an exclusive look at an early build of our unholy roguelite Malys - you can catch the whole VOD (including even more impeccable VO) right now! 🙌 www.youtube.com/watch?v=cuh1...

If you want to get into an animated discussion with a game dev, find a game that does certain things really well and others really poorly. If it's just an awesome game all around, that's a short conversation... but this? You can talk for HOURS. To date, that game is still Marvel's Midnight Suns.

It's kind of interesting to watch how many different articles spinning off from the interviews I did during the Kickstarter, where I never spoke at all about Veilguard, can be spun ever so slightly to make it seem like I was speaking about Veilguard. 🤔

I have never joined in on a "save this show!" campaign, but by golly I'm gonna do it this time.

The one good thing about the Kickstarter being over is that I don't need to do any more interviews. Kind of sick of seeing my RPG opinions in print, myself. 😮‍💨

Finally received the Australian Writers Guild award for 2024, and gosh its kinda pretty. 🥰

I finished watching Sirens on Netflix, and it seemed like an amusing enough comedy (and Meghann Fahy is a delight, as always) right up until the last episode... which feels like it was written by completely different people altogether? Very odd. Still OK overall, I guess, but what a weird ending.

I support this message. 😅

And now Amazon has cancelled the Wheel of Time. I guess we're not allowed to have anything nice in this particular timeline. 😡

Speaking with PCGamesN, ex-Dragon Age writer @davidgaider.bsky.social discusses Bioware's struggles with EA, Star Wars: The Old Republic "sucking up" the cash for Dragon Age 2, and how Larian got Baldur's Gate 3 so right www.pcgamesn.com/dragon-age-t...

Well, we tried. Like we say below: thank you to everyone who gave their support, truly. 💙

Want to watch an early preview of Malys? I'll be on a live stream shortly with Jesse Cox to walk him through an early build! Join us at www.twitch.tv/jessecox

You remember that post that got so much attention, where I suggested that Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 did for JRPG's what BG3 did for CRPG's? Well, someone DID reach out and asked me for details! Read about it here: www.gamesradar.com/games/rpg/ex...

i interviewed @davidgaider.bsky.social and Katy Nethercote to talk about @summerfallstudios.com’s new demonic roguelite deckbuilder Malys! screenrant.com/david-gaider...

I had the absolute pleasure of chatting to @davidgaider.bsky.social about his new roguelike deckbuilder, Malys, Dragon Age, and even Vampire: The Masquerade. Loads of cool content coming soon, but for now, here's Malys: www.pcgamesn.com/malys/david-...

We are officially into the last two days of the Malys Kickstarter! If you've held off committing, now's the time to either do it or forever hold your peace! In the meantime, an update that includes an early advance look at some actual Malys gameplay! www.kickstarter.com/projects/sum...

We added some SICK and TWISTED and EXTREMEMELY GOTH in-game candles to Malys, our roguelite deckbuilder EXCLUSIVELY for folk who back the Kickstarter at the Arcanist tier and above! 🕯️ Are you goth enough? 🖤 https://bit.ly/kickstartmalys

I once used the word "sussurous" in a novel - my editor allowed it, but said it was a "piss word". She explained that this related to a writer who'd used the word "urinary": "it's the kind of word you may use once in a book, period. Use it twice and the reader will notice and remember it forever."

I came into the office to appear on a stream (where we'll show off Malys!), but now that's been delayed and so I'm sitting in an empty office and the wind is howling and there are wolves after me. 😱 As an aside: why does Australia abhor insulation? I'm Canadian and I've never been this cold. 🥶
